Kwan Yee Gor Matt clay pomade

First of all LOVE the tin this product comes in 😃 Got this for my husband. He loves it. It gives a little bit of hold without making it crunchy or hard. Comes out of his hair easily in the shower. It doesn’t take much product. The smell is manly, sandalwood-ish. Not too strong. Recommend!

I got this to test against my current Brand name product.Pros:- Clay Pomade- Strong Hold- Matte- Water Based- Non-GreasyCons:- ScentedWhat you get in the package:- 1 3.5oz Container of KWAN YEE GOR Matt Clay PomadeWhat I like about this product is that it delivers a nice medium to strong hold. The texture is like a light clay and it only takes a couple of small applications to give my coarse hair the hold that I like. You simple emulsify the product in your palms and rub it onto your hair. I like a messy style so a couple of small applications and it is good to go.The product claims that it is a matte and it does not have any sheen at all. You can feel the product in your hair but it is not extremely tacky like some other products that I have used.The product is slightly scented. It is like a light clay sandalwood smell. It is not overly offensive nor does it smell like cologne. I am not a fan of scented products but as scents go it’s not bad.I was unable to locate any warranty in either the product information or item description.I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, this product delivers a good medium to strong hold and blends in so you cannot see the sand color of the clay. It holds with some tackiness and in testing lasted about 48 hours. As far as washing out, I had to wash my hair twice to remove any residual product. However, in my experience, that is par for the course if you want a strong hold. I found this to be a good product and right in line with the price point of other competitors.

Holy cow this stuff is definitely strong hold! I actually got this for my son, for special occasions/pictures. He's only 7 and has straight, fine, soft hair. It needs convincing to do anything. Not with this. I put it in and his hair stood straight up!!! It is pretty sticky and I had to be gently to actually comb it the way I wanted it. But overall this will do great for him. And it smells really good, not overpowering though.

Absolutely love this product. It is really strong but smells incredible!!
Easy to apply and easy to wash out but it literally lasts for hours. Couldn't be more pleased with it.
In fact, I love it so much, I bought another six tins of it so I don't run out for a while!

Amazing, like the matt look and easy to style.

Holds pretty good, I even tried it when it was fairly breezy and hardly had to fix my hair the whole day.
Overall satisfied with the matte look it gives my hair, no glossy shine here.
The only downside is havingto wash it out, but that's par for the course with hair products.

love this product. I prefer this for my casual days, where I just want to have a messy, but well held style. I have thick, super straight hair and these products are the the best I've used for hold, and I need to use SO little of it!
